One way to think of zen is this: a total state of focus that incorporates a total togetherness of body and mind. Zen is a way of being. It also is a state of mind. Zen involves dropping illusion and seeing things without distortion created by your own thoughts. 'A special transmission outside the teachings; not depending on words or letters; directly pointing to Mind; realizing one's True Nature and becoming Buddha.' (Bodhidharma) A monk asked Baso, "What is the Buddha?" Baso replied, "Not mind, not Buddha." That being said, these are pages that I have created to help me stay in the Zen state. Enjoy, or not.
