"Heaven and earth will disappear, but my words remain forever" Matt 24:35

We love you Dad.

And now, Israel, what does the Lord your God require of you except to
listen carefully to all he says to you, and to obey for your own good
the commandments I am giving you today, and to love him, and to worship
him with all your hearts and souls? Earth and highest heaven belong
to the Lord your God. And yet he rejoiced in your fathers and loved
them so much that he chose you, their children, to be above every
other nation, as is evident today. Therefore, cleanse your sinful
hearts and stop your stubbornness.
	Deuteronomy 10:12-16

Do not let sin control your puny body any longer; do not give in to its
sinful desires. Do not let any part of your bodies become tools of
wickedness, to be used for sinning; but give yourselves completely
to God -- every part of you -- for you are back from death and you want
to be tools in the hands of God, to be used for his good purposes.
Sin need never again be your master, for now you are no longer tied to
the law where sin enslaves you, but you are free under God's favor and mercy.
Does this mean that now we can go ahead and sin and not worry
about it? (For our salvation does not depend on keeping the law, but
on receiving God's grace! Of course not! Don't you realize that
you can choose your own master? You can choose sin (with death)
or else obedience (with acquittal). The one to whom you offer
yourself -- he will take you and be your master and you will be his
slave. Thank God that thought you once chose to be slaves of sin,
now you have obeyed with all your heart the teaching to which God
has committed you.  And now you are free from your old master, sin;
and you have become slaves to your new master, righteousness.
	Romans 6:12-18

It seems to be a fact of life that when I want to do what is right, I
inevitable do what is wrong.  I love to do God's will so far as my
new nature is concerned, there is something else deep within me,
in my lower nature, that is at war with my mind and wins the fight
and makes me a slave to the sin that is still within me. In my mind
I want to be God's willing servant but instead I find myself still
enslaved to sin.
	Romans 7:21-25

Yet, even though Christ lives within you, your body will die
because of sin; but your spirit will live, for Christ has pardoned it.
And if the Spirit of God, who raised up Jesus from the dead, lives
in you, he will make your dying bodies live again after you die, by
means of this same Holy Spirit living within you.
	Romans 8:10-11

And in the same way -- by our faith -- the Holy Spirit helps us with
our daily problems and in our praying. For we don't even know
what we should pray for, nor how to pray as we should; but the
Holy Spirit prays for us with such feeling that it cannot be
expressed in words. And the Father who knows all hearts knows,
of course, what the Spirit is saying as he pleads for us in harmony
with God's own will. And we know that all that happens to us is
working for our good if we love God and are fitting into his plans.
	Romans 8:26-29

And so, dear brothers, I plead with you to give your bodies to God.
Let them be a living sacrifice, holy -- the kind he can accept. When
you think of what he has done for you, is this too much to ask?
Don't copy the behavior and customs of this world, but be a new
and different person with a fresh newness in all you do and think.
Then you will learn from your won experience how his ways will
really satisfy you.
	Romans 12:1-2

Just as there are many parts to our bodies, so it is with Christ's
body. We are all parts of it, and it takes every one of us to make
it complete, for we each have different work to do.  So we belong
to each other, and each needs all the others.
	Romans 12:4-5

We are not out own bosses to live or die as we ourselves might
choose. Living or dying we follow the Lord. Either way we are his.
Christ died and rose again for this very purpose, so that he can be
our Lord both while we live and when we die.
	Romans 14:7-9

So be careful. If you are thinking, Oh, I would never behave
like that -- let this be a warning to you. For you too may fall into sin.
But remember this -- the wrong desires that come into your life aren't
anything new and different. Many others have faced exactly the
same problems before you.  And no temptation is irresistible.
You can trust God to keep the temptation from becoming so strong
that you can't stand up against it, for he has promised this and will
do what he says. He will show you how to escape temptation's
power so that you can bear up patiently against it.
	I Corinthians 10:12-13

If I can thank God for the food and enjoy it, why let someone
spoil everything just because he thinks I am wrong? Well, I'll
tell you why. It is because you must do everything for the glory
of God, even your eating and drinking. So don't be a stumbling
block to anyone, whether they are Jews or Gentiles or
Christians. That is the plan I follow, too. I try to please everyone
in everything I don, not doing what I like or what is best for me, but
what is best for them, so that they may be saved.
	I Corinthians 10:30-33

He gives special faith to another, and to someone else the power
to heal the sick. He gives power for doing miracles to some, and
to others power to prophesy and preach. He gives someone else
the power to know whether evil spirits are speaking through those
who claim to be giving God's messages -- or whether it is really the
Spirit of God who is speaking. Still another person is able to speak
in languages he never learned; and others, who do not know the
language either, are given power to understand what he is saying.
	I Corinthians 12:9-10

Love is patient and king, never jealous or envious, never boastful
or proud, never haughty or selfish or rude. Love does not demand
its own way. It is not irritable or touchy. It does not hold grudges
and will hardly even notice when others do it wrong. It is never
glad about injustice, but rejoices whenever truth wins out. If you
love someone you will be loyal to him no matter what the cost. You
will always believe in him, always expect the best of him, and
always stand your ground in defending him.
	I Corinthians 13:4-7

If the Good News we preach is hidden to anyone, it is hidden from
the one who is on the road to eternal death. Satan, who is the god
of this evil world, has made him blind, unable to see the glorious
light of the Gospel that is shining upon him, or to understand the
amazing message we preach about the glory of Christ, who is God.
	II Corinthians 4:3-4

We are pressed on every side by troubles, but not crushed and
broken.  We are perplexed because we don't know he things
happen as they do, but we don't give up and quit. We are
hunted down, but God never abandons us. We get knocked down
but we get up again and keep going. There bodies of ours are
constantly facing death just as Jesus did; so it is clear to all that
it is only the living Christ within (who keeps us safe)
	II Corinthians 4:8-10
